About

Written by someone who had to run the shop first.

ManePilot exists because the software available to a detailing business was either built for a plumber with twelve vans, or was a calendar with a customer list bolted to the side. Neither understood the vehicle.

Before building software, Brent Morrow built and operated Diamond Detail AZ. The problems ManePilot solves are not researched problems. They are the ones that cost him money.

Quoting a correction before seeing the paint. Losing an afternoon because a mobile job had no water access. Rebuilding a week from text messages after a rained-out Tuesday. Discovering at invoicing time that the add-on the customer approved verbally never made it onto the bill.

None of those are software problems in the abstract. They are what happens when the customer, the vehicle, the work and the money live in four different places and only one person is holding them together.

ManePilot is one record that carries a job from the first enquiry to the paid invoice. It began with automotive appearance work because that is the trade where the vehicle, not the customer, holds the history — and it turned out the same structure works for a lawn crew, a cleaning contract or an HVAC unit.

What this is and is not

Claims we are not going to make.

A lot of software marketing works by implying scale that does not exist yet. ManePilot is early, and saying so plainly seems better than the alternative.

No customer counts

ManePilot is new. There is no meaningful number of users to quote yet, so there is no number quoted anywhere on this site.

No invented testimonials

When real customers have real things to say, they will appear here with their names on them.

No revenue claims

You will not find "shops using ManePilot earn X% more" anywhere, because there is no honest way to know that yet.

Founder experience, not client results

The credibility here is that the person building it ran the business. That is a different claim from proven outcomes, and we keep them separate.
